Morclean now offers a range of high-performance vehicle wash silt interceptors, to safely manage and treat contaminated wash water generated during vehicle, equipment and machinery cleaning operations.
SiltGUARDTM models across the range can handle a number of wash cycles before needing to be emptied, making them suitable for vehicle wash facilities including commercial car washes, fleet depots, and industrial operations — with the right capacity available for every scale of use.
The SiltGUARDTM range includes top-entry models, featuring a large 600mm x 600mm clear inspection opening equipped to be fitted with a D400 load-rated grating, allowing contaminated water from the washing process to flow directly into the unit. Morclean also offers a range of single-stage side entry models, which come with an opening to fit a standard solid access cover in place of a grating.
Easy Maintenance
All units are designed with ease of maintenance in mind. Grates are fully accessible for straightforward inspection, cleaning, and debris removal, and the Top-Entry design allows quick servicing without the need for specialised tools.
Silt retention capacities vary across the range, supporting extended periods of low maintenance based on typical vehicle size and application – reducing operational downtime and enhancing efficiency.

Silt traps for general use fitted with standard gratings. The build up of silt and dirt from vehicles is a major problem particularly from vehicle wash facilities and the silt guard is designed to effectively trap the silt before it enters the drainage system.
The silt guard is an extremely robust range of silt traps that can be installed in granular surround if required. The range features two smaller silt traps at 275 litres and 450 litres silt retention and a larger 1000 litre unit. All the units are supplied with a D400 Heavy Duty open grating for surface water catchment from vehicle wash bays and hard standing areas.
