Morclean Backs New Matlock Rugby Club Clubhouse Project
October 2025 Update
The CrowdFunder page has raised £22,645 so far and the project successfully funded on 6th August 2025, but you can still support future projects and plans with a donation.
Morclean is proud to support the building of a new club house by purchasing ‘a brick’ to help The Baileans in their fund raising efforts to to upgrade essential utilities prior to the construction of a new club house. Morclean recognises the value of investing in local clubs that promote teamwork, inclusivity, and personal growth.
The current clubhouse, used by over 400 players, families, and visitors each week, suffers from poor insulation, leaks, and structural deterioration.
The new facility will offer accessible, energy-efficient spaces for all 15 of the club’s teams – including men’s, women’s, junior, and SEND tag rugby squads – while strengthening the club’s role as a vibrant community hub.
