Wash water is drawn from the collection tank into the filtration tank.
Filters out sand, mud, aggregates, and hydrocarbons.
Water is
The interceptor collection tank holds dirty water, loaded polluted with sand, mud, aggregates, and traces of hydrocarbons. To clean this, the WPP10 filtration system uses several stages of filtering within its 1000 litre capacity.
Firstly, a pump sends the dirty water into a sand trap filter that captures heavy sediments. From there, the water enters the first wet chamber of the WPP10 filtration system, where a hydrocarbon‑absorbing mat soaks up oils and detergents.
Following this, the water flows under a baffle into the second wet chamber, which also contains a hydrocarbon mat for any remaining oily residues. The water then spills over a weir into the third wet chamber, where a large filter mat removes finer pollutants.
After passing under another baffle into the fourth wet chamber, the water is lightly chlorinated, making it clean enough for reuse. When you switch on a connected pressure washer, the WPP10’s booster pump kicks in, delivering water at tap pressure.
Before entering the pump, the water passes through one final fine filter to ensure it’s free of any last particles.
Booster pump activates to provide re-used water to your pressure washer.
